Scientific evidence

Actilight® prebiotic fibre has been proven to interact at various levels with the colon microflora and the gut, an organ that is recognised to have a central role in health and is even considered as our “second brain”. The health and nutrition benefits of Actilight® have been investigated for years, involving more and more interesting application perspectives in functional foods and health care.

The health benefits of Actilight® are supported by many scientific studies conducted by independent research centres and universities. Our aim is to promote the consumption of Actilight® as part of a well-balanced and realistic diet. Studies are done on selected target groups for which foods containing Actilight® is promoted.
